Dr. Soroya Bacchus is a triple board certified psychiatrist specializing in addiction and management of psychiatric conditions with a focus on empowering her patients to learn to negotiate life’s challengeles

Goals:

Dr. Bacchus came to us in an effort to take her already successful practice to a new level and reach out to local rehabilitation facilities and providers to increase her network of referring clinicians, while at the same time acquiring consulting positions at key facilities and developing and fostering an expert status in the media on mental health issues.

As a bi-racial woman, Dr. Bacchus has a particular interest in improving access to mental health services and challenging long held cultural beliefs in the Black community, which she wanted to find an appropriate venue to address.

Similarly, Dr. Bacchus devotes time to the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center, and wanted to highlight the need for providers to understand cultural congruence in order to better serve diverse populations.

Strategy/Implementation: Media Relations and Strategy, Creative Strategy, Speaking Engagements, Business Development, Networking With Key Stakeholders in the recovery community.

Results: Dr. Bacchus’ campaign produced immediate ROI in both media placement and in business development, leading her to become a sought after expert in the media on mental health issues, as well as a key consultant for those in the recovery industry.

As a result, Dr. Bacchus was able to move her practice to a more prominent location which also is home to a variety of key clinicians and referral sources in her area of expertise, which achieved the goal of making access to her practice more convenient for patients, and also made professional networking easier by placing her in proximity to other clinicians whose patients might need Dr. Bacchus’ services.
